It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the website of Bibi Halima College of Nursing and Medical Technology, Srinagar — an institution close to the heart of the J&K Waqf Board, and to the broader cause of healthcare in our region.

Since its founding in 2005, BHCNMT has carried forward the mission of equipping young men and women of the Valley with the skills, knowledge, and ethical grounding required for a profession as profound as nursing. The very name of our college — drawn from the figure of Bibi Halima — reminds us that to nurse is, at its core, to nurture.

The Waqf Board has invested patiently in this institution because we believe that the future of any society is built on three pillars: education, health, and service. A nursing college is, in many ways, the meeting point of all three.
